The Technical Analysis is (TAW) an innovative wing, established at the district head quarter i.e., Kadapa City in YSR District duly filled with skilled Police Personnel. They were trained in the analysis of call data records, IPDR, Mobile and Cyber forensics. Innovative methods of generating technical intelligence have been devised by TAW. The wing is completely self-reliant as far as technical know-how in crime detection is concerned.

There has been a boost to the technology application by district police in crime detection. The confidence among the public in the police has been improved. The contribution of the wing is key role in detection of property offences, tracing of missing and kidnapped persons, quick detection of crimes, crime against women and also exposed different types of cyber-crimes.
