The Police Welfare Hospital was inaugurated by Sri H.J. Dora, IPS., DG & IGP, AP, Hyderabad on 06.12.2000. An MBBS doctor is Unit Doctor for the Hospital. The District Police are utilizing the services of the Police Welfare Hospital, taking the necessary medicines from the Unit Hospital issued by the Government of Andhra Pradesh. During the COVID-19 pandemic situation, Sri K.K.N. Anburajan, IPS., Superintendent of Police, YSR District has made efforts to admit the COVID affected Police Personnel in a special COVID CARE CENTRES with the coordination of District Medical authorities, supplied necessary medicines, vaccines, etc., for speedy recovery. On the instructions of the SP, Kadapa, the Unit Medical Officer will contact with the COVID affected Police personnel through the ZOOM video conference for developing their self confidence. Further, on the instructions of Sri K.K.N. Anburajan, IPS., Superintendent of Police, YSR District, the Unit Medical Officer and the team will conduct Medical camps at Sub-Division Head Quarters and will conduct necessary test. The Unit Medical Officer will monitor comorbidity Police personnel regularly for not affecting them other diseases.
On the instructions of Sri K.K.N. Anburajan, IPS., Superintendent of Police, YSR District, the Police Welfare Association members will ensure the Private Hospitals personally for giving cashless treatment to the Police Personnel and their families under the Arogya Bharatha Scheme.
Sri K.K.N. Anburajan, IPS., Superintendent of Police, YSR District inaugurated the Police Sunshine Laboratory at the Christian Lane, Kadapa by keeping the welfare of the Police personnel on mind. The Police Sunshine Laboratory will conduct all types of blood tests at the cost of less than 50% less by comparing outside laboratories.
The Pushpagiri Police Welfare has inaugurated by the Sri S.K. Jayachanra, IPS., IGP (L&O), Rayalaseema on 17.12.1997. The Police Gas Godown is situated near the District Police Office, Kadapa. The Gas Cylinders will door delivery to the Police personnel without any additional cost. Further, Sri K.K.N. Anburajan, IPS., Superintendent of Police, YSR District has started to give the Gas Cylinders to the Police Personnel on credit basis and the said amount will recover from their respective salaries.
On the instructions of Sri K.K.N. Anburajan, IPS., Superintendent of Police, YSR District a new building was constructed for establishing Mineral Water Plant and the Sujala Mineral Water Plant was inaugurated near the District Police Office, Kadapa. The main motive of the Sujala Mineral Water Plant is to supply the pure mineral water to the district Police. The Police personnel are utilizing the services of Sujala Mineral Water Plant.
The Kalpatharu Police Welfare Stores and the Central Police Canteen inaugurated by Sri Bapujee Attada, IPS., the than SP of Police, Kadapa, for the District Police with an intention to provide the provision, household items to the Police Personnel at affordable prices. The Kalpatharu Police Welfare Stores and the Central Police Canteen are situated at near the District Police Office, Kadapa. Further, Sri K.K.N. Anburajan, IPS., Superintendent of Police, YSR District inaugurated the Sub-Canteens in Pulivendula and Proddatur Sub-Divisions.
A Gym was inaugurated by Sri J.V Ramudu, IPS., Director General of Police, Andra Pradesh on 17.07.2016. The Gym was started for the Police Personnel and their children to maintain fitness on low cost.
A primary school in the premises of the District Police Office, Kadapa is established with the coordination of Happy Kids School management to facilitate admission to the children of the Police Personnel with nominal fee for good education.
